We respect your choices and traditions and want to help you welcome your baby according to your wishes. Whether helping you stretch and change positions, using special massage techniques or preparing you for pain control, our nurses help ease anxiety and assist you in preparing your body and mind for the birth of your baby. Our patients tell us that we go above and beyond expectations and that they would recommend us. We provide all the services you'd expect: parent education, cesarean delivery, help with breastfeeding, delivery of multiple babies and care for higher-risk pregnancies. In addition to traditional birth options, we also offer water births.
You can take comfort in knowing our expert team of physicians, nurses and certified nurse midwives are prepared to handle complications should they arise. A neonatal nurse practitioner from Children's Minnesota is on the birthing floor 24/7 and available to attend any birth with the knowledge and skills to resuscitate and stabilize infants who are premature or who become critically ill following birth.
